Chapter 762
"There's nothing going on between me and Blythe," Silas finally explained to Calliope after thinking it over. "Those bunnies? They poop everywhere, that's why I gave them to her. If they were anything special, I'd give them to you, not her."
"Sure, she's helped me out in the past, so I'll help her if she needs it. But that's all it is, just paying back an old favor. I don't feel anything for her. Nothing at all."
He looked Calliope straight in the eyes.
"Callie, you're not jealous, are you? Don't be. You're the only one in my heart. This life, the next one, doesn't matter. It'll always be you."
"I believe you." Calliope smiled, her lips tugging upward. Sure, Blythe was pretty and had a lot going for her, but they were just childhood friends. So many years had passed, they were basically strangers now.
She trusted Silas completely. Besides, Blythe was hanging out with Oliver these days. Just that alone was enough to make Silas want to keep his distance.
Meanwhile...
Blythe burst into her room, cradling the two fluffy bunnies, absolutely delighted. She had no idea what Silas meant when he said, "They poop a lot."
She figured it out soon enough.
The second she set the bunnies down, they hopped right onto her shoes and peed all over them.
Just as Blythe started to panic, the bunnies leapt onto her open suitcase, wiggling their little tails.
And then, disaster struck: they started pooping. Little brown pellets, like chocolate chips, rolled across her clothes.
Blythe's eyes went wide as saucers.
"They're pooping! You're pooping in my suitcase!"
She shrieked, absolutely losing it, staring at her once-pristine clothes-her designer jeans, her favorite sweaters-now dotted with bunny droppings.
Her face went pale with horror. Her howls of dismay were so loud that Oliver, in
the suite next door, came knocking, looking concerned.
Blythe opened the door, fighting back tears. "Mr. Myers..." she sniffled.
"What happened? I heard you all the way down the hall."
Oliver frowned, utterly confused by the scene.
"Silas... he gave me two bunnies," Blythe stammered.
"He did?" Oliver's eyes widened. "Well, that's something! Maybe he's still got feelings for you!"
"But... but they're pooping everywhere!" Blythe was nearly hysterical as she edged out into the hallway, unable to stay in the room another second.
"Pooping?" Oliver repeated, not quite getting it. He poked his head into the room.
And there they were, the two bunnies, happily pooping all over the place.
He blinked. "Well, regardless, Silas gave you bunnies. That must mean
something. Maybe you should try reconnecting with him.”

"But..." Blythe glanced at the bunnies and suddenly understood why Calliope had been smirking earlier. She wanted to give the bunnies back immediately.
"Just call housekeeping," Oliver advised. "You're young, don't freak out over a
little mess. Stay calm."
"How am I supposed to stay calm?"

Blythe wanted to scream. Thenoveldrama
bunnies had ruined her favorite clothes. She felt like tossing the whole room out the window.
Meanwhile, Calliope and Silas stepped out of their room just down the hall catching sight of Blythe's meltdown. Both of them glanced in her direction, trying-and failing-to hide their amusement.
