Alpha King Chases Abandoned Luna

Chapter 410

(Olivia's POV)

Half a month later, the entire Moonstone pack was immersed in excitement, preparing for the grand mating ceremony. The atmosphere was electric with anticipation as pack members hurried about with decorations and arrangements.

Lucas insisted on giving me a wedding worthy of a Luna's status. His gray eyes had sparkled with determination when he'd made the declaration.

"I want the whole world to know that you are my only one," he had said, his voice filled with such conviction that my wolf had preened with pleasure.

Now, standing in the entrance to the main hall, I was stunned by the scale of the celebration. It was beyond anything I could have imagined.

Alphas from all major territories had come to congratulate us. Even the most distant southern pack had sent a delegation, their exotic gifts piled high on ceremonial tables.

The main hall was transformed into something from a fairy tale. Countless rare moonlight roses cascaded from the ceiling like a fragrant waterfall. The ethereal blooms filled the space with their delicate scent, making my wolf rumble with contentment.

"These flowers... must have cost a lot of money?" I asked, gazing at the spectacular scene before me.

Lucas hugged me from behind, his strong arms encircling my waist as he chuckled softly in my ear. "For you, no matter how much money is worth it."

He gently turned my body to face him, his gray eyes filled with tenderness. "Besides," he continued, "you and Lily both like moonlight roses. I remember."

My heart clenched at the mention of my daughter. That he would include her memory in our special day touched me deeply.

The wedding dress was another marvel. Handmade by Alpha's dedicated tailoring team, it featured the finest silk and countless pearls. Every stitch and thread reflected the luxury of the Blackwood family.

When I put it on, even the usually composed Lucas was stunned into silence. His wolf's reaction was visible in his eyes, which darkened with admiration.

"You are simply... too beautiful to be real," he said, reaching out to stroke my cheek. "How can I be so lucky to have you?"

His words warmed me from within. My wolf basked in his appreciation, feeling truly valued for perhaps the first time since Lily's death.

Just before the ceremony was about to begin, my makeup artist leaned close, her voice barely above a whisper. "Luna, someone outside wants to see you. It's... it's Ethan."

I frowned, my momentary happiness clouding. The mention of his name still had the power to affect me, but today was about my future, not my past.

"Tell him I don't have time to see him," I said lightly, turning back to the mirror to check my appearance one final time.

I sorted out my emotions, pushing aside all thoughts of Ethan. Today was about Lucas and me, about new beginnings and second chances.

When the doors of the hall slowly opened, all the guests stood in respect. I took a deep breath, steadying my nerves as I prepared to walk toward my future.

The soft lighting caught the pearls on my dreamlike wedding dress, making them shimmer like stars as I slowly walked toward the altar. My wolf moved with grace and purpose, knowing we were heading toward safety and love.

Lucas stood waiting for me, tall and powerful in his formal Alpha attire. The moment he saw me, his eyes lit up instantly, his face blooming with the brightest smile I had ever seen.

He took the initiative to walk toward me, holding out his arms like a knight welcoming his princess. The gesture was so tender, so protective, that my heart swelled with emotion.

"My Luna," he whispered as he reached me, "are you ready?"

I placed my hand on his arm, smiling as I nodded. "I'm ready."

The ceremony began with solemn music filling the hall. The priest started reading the traditional oath, his voice carrying to every corner of the room.

Suddenly, Lucas interrupted him. "Wait," he said, turning to face me fully, his eyes brimming with affection. "I want to say something to Olivia in person."

He held my hands in his, his voice soft yet clear enough that everyone in the silent hall could hear every word.

"Olivia, from the first time we met, I knew you were special. Over the years, I have watched you suffer, watched you get hurt, watched you face everything with strength."

His words washed over me, sincere and heartfelt. My wolf listened intently, recognizing the truth in his declaration.

"Your courage, your kindness, your beauty, are all deeply imprinted in my heart. I swear, from now on, I will use my life to protect you, use my love to heal you, and use everything I have to make you happy."

Tears began to form in my eyes, blurring my vision. Lucas continued, his voice growing stronger with each promise.

"You are no longer alone, because you have me. You no longer need to be afraid, because I will always be your shield. Olivia, will you be my Luna, my partner, my everything?"

The emotion in his voice was raw and real. This wasn't just a ceremony to him—it was a sacred vow.

Tears blurred my vision, but my voice was extremely firm as I responded. "I do. I've never been more sure of anything in my life."

Thunderous applause erupted from the audience, filling the hall with joy and celebration. Lucas gently held my face between his hands, his touch reverent.

He leaned forward and kissed me deeply, sealing our bond with tenderness and passion. My wolf responded to his, our energies intertwining in a dance as old as time.

At that moment, I felt complete

happiness wash over me. All the pain of the past-the neglect, the loss, the betrayal-seemed to disappear, leaving only pure love and hope in its place.

The weight I had carried for so long lifted from my shoulders. The grief that had been my constant companion since Lily's death eased, not forgotten but no longer all-consuming.

Lucas pulled back slightly, his forehead resting against mine as we shared a breath. His gray eyes shone with devotion and promise.

In them, I saw my future-bright, secure, and filled with the respect and love I deserved. My wolf settled contentedly, recognizing that we had found our home.

As we turned to face our guests, hand in hand, I realized with absolute certainty that I had finally found my fairy tale ending.noveldrama
