Bride To Be Not Me (Janice and Simon)

Chapter 216

Elsie added, "Besides, my dad told me that an international company has set up business in Greenfield City. Prosper Stitch Group will surely go head to head with that company. Why don't you take this opportunity to curry up to that new company and join forces to go against Prosper Stitch Group?"

Although Edward felt dizzy, he could understand Elsie's suggestion. It made

sense.

Janice was only lucky to have Edward's support. Otherwise, she couldn't have won international competitions with her inconsistent crochet skills.

Even now, he refused to admit that his bad fortune stemmed from losing her.

Simon sat up, and Elsie rested her head on his shoulder. "Simon, I believe in you. You can do it."

"I've left Refined Threads Co."

"Seriously?" Elsie was stoked. "When did that happen? What went down?"

"That bitch, Janice, kicked me out of the company." His resentment resurfaced when he recalled the decision.

Janice had no money or talent. She had only managed to make a name for herself thanks to Edward's support. She had no right to kick him out of the company!

Simon felt indignant about Janice's move.

Clenching his jaw, he hissed out the words, "She bought out my shares! I'll make a comeback again!"

Elsie took her time and cooled down. "That's not a bad thing. You should cut ties with her. By the way, the new company that is setting up business in the city is called Onley Group. Do you want to work for them?"

"No!" Simon would never work as an employee. He believed that he was destined to be a chairman, and he refused to take orders from anyone else.

"So, you-"

"You're right, Elsie. I need to buck up. That's why I'll establish a new company and get the support of Onley Group."

Simon had heard a thing or two about Onley Group's business in Greenfield City, but he hadn't gotten the details. He'd heard of the company. It was a famous crochet business abroad.

The city wasn't big enough for both Prosper Stitch Group and Only Group. Sooner or later, they would be locked in a fight, and all Simon needed to do was take advantage of the situation!

Simon had no other thoughts than to plan for Janice's fall from grace!noveldrama

Amelia was brought to Jovarek Villa, where she met Zedrick. "What are you going to do?"

Sighing, he took a seat. "I have some pills here. Take them."

He heard that Simon had barred the relevant organizations and businesses from selling HIV pills to Amelia.

Amelia wasn't foolish. She'd take the pills to save her life. After consuming them, she asked coldly, "So, what's this about?"

"I won't bring up the past. I deserve

my fate, and indeed, I'm dying, just like you wish. Don't be mad. I'm

trying to make it up to you. I havet

someone that you might want to meet. What do you think?" Zedrick's stamina was declining by the day. He couldn't even walk for long.

He rested on the couch as his bodyguards handed a phone to Amelia. A photo was shown on the screen.

"Heidi?" She gasped. "Is she with you? Do you know her?"

Zedrick, as observant as ever, noticed the distaste in Amelia's eyes, confirming his guess that Heidi had bullied Amelia before.

He replied in a casual tone, "Would you like her to suffer an undignified death?"

"You... Zedrick, we're in the country! You'll be in deep trouble if you murder someone!" Amelia growled.

"Well, my days are numbered anyway." Zedrick seemed unbothered. "Didn't you get a car to run Janice Smith over? So, why are you worried about killing Heidi?"

Amelia tossed the phone aside. "I didn't plan to kill Janice."
