Chapter 1538
A sharp, crisp slap echoed through the classroom, plunging it into an eerie silence. Fiona clapped her hands together, raising an eyebrow at Patricia. They could talk smack about her all they wanted, but when it came to Jackson, they had better step off. Her brother, with his ethereal charm, was nothing like the unworthy picture they tried to paint.noveldrama
"Let this be a lesson for you. Next time, watch your mouth," Fiona shot back, glaring daggers at Patricia.
Patricia stood there, frozen, shaking with anger. Her eyes, usually so pretty, were now filled with disbelief as she stared Fiona down. How dare Fiona! It took Patricia a full two minutes to pull herself together before she charged at Fiona like a wildcat, her eyes bloodshot, as if ready to tear her apart.
But Fiona was cool as a cucumber, simply lifting her leg and planting a foot firmly against Patricia's stomach, keeping her at bay. No way was Fiona going to just stand there and let someone beat on her.
"Fiona, you bitch! How dare you hit me? No one's ever dared to slap my face before!" Patricia screamed, her eyes blazing with fury. "You shameless wretch! Who do you think you are?"
The scene turned chaotic, and even the students who tried to break up the fight ended up getting scratched by Patricia's nails. Gradually, no one dared to step in anymore, while a few guys stood by Fiona, making sure she stayed safe.
"You're just cozying up to the guys. What's there to brag about? They might call you the 'Flora of Class Nineteen', but go ask around-no one respects someone as shameless as you!"
"Who looks more disgraceful now?" Fiona smirked, unbothered. She wasn't going to waste her breath on someone like Patricia. "And who hang out with is none of your business. Besides, you can't take me down."

Her blatant mockery drove Patricia to the edge. In her fury, she wished she could
rip Fiona apart. She tried to force Fiona's leg away but couldn't budge it. Where did Fiona get that strength from?
Patricia grabbed whatever she could reach-books, pencil cases, even a water bottle-and hurled them at Fiona. Nearby, Janet exchanged a knowing look with her friends and walked over, deliberately pulling the two apart.
"What are you doing? We're all classmates here. Let's talk it out," Janet said, playing the peacekeeper role but subtly pushing Fiona into a corner. She added with a light laugh, "Fiona, it wasn't cool soaking their blankets in the middle of the night. How were they supposed to sleep? And now this, without a hint of an apology. Maybe you both should just apologize and call it quits."
While she spoke, Janet glanced over at Nash, a slight smile on her lips. As long as Nash didn't see her as the bad guy, she was good. Turning him against Fiona would be icing on the cake.
Fiona raised an eyebrow at Janet. She sure knew how to stir the pot, sweeping everything under the rug with a casual suggestion.
"All right, Fiona, apologize to me and I'll forgive you," Patricia said, jumping at the chance to back down. She really didn't want to drag this out any longer.
What do you think?
