Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1774

Jackson and Fiona followed the directions on the invitation, navigating the winding roads until they unexpectedly arrived at the lavish Everlast Hall, a well-known spot in the States' elite circles.

Everlast Hall boasted a rich history, having withstood the test of time through various eras. Thanks to meticulous upkeep, it looked almost brand new, giving off an aura of freshness and splendor.

Peeking through the car window, Fiona caught sight of Everlast Hall and immediately sensed the soothing scent of sandalwood wafting through the air.

As they stepped out of the car, they were met with murmurs of awe and curiosity. "The Larkin family must be absolutely loaded to throw a party at Everlast Hall! This place must be insanely expensive per square foot, and the estate itself has to be at least two to three hundred square feet."

"No kidding, it seems like the Larkin family is really banking on the younger generation. Could the buzz be true that Josie is their shining hope for the future?"

"Who knows? Small-timers like us can only hang around the edges of these big family gatherings."

"Do any of you know who these two are? I've never seen them around here before."

As the chatter continued, all eyes turned towards Jackson and Fiona. Though their family wasn't particularly influential, they had never crossed paths with Jackson in these circles before.

"I saw that guy on the news recently. He's from the Woods family!"

Everyone's gaze zeroed in on Jackson as if he were some kind of rare gem.

"Is that woman his date?"

Fiona's youthful looks led many to mistakenly think she was underage.

Quickly, the wheels started turning in their heads.

If the head of the Woods family had a thing for young women, they knew plenty of ways to introduce some to him.

In today's world, with enough money, people would do just about anything.

And if a few women could seal a connection with the Woods family, who wouldn't want to cash in on such a sure bet?

Fiona glanced at them, instantly understanding their intentions. But she didn't dwell on it. Instead, she focused on Jackson, who was making his way toward her, and gracefully linked her arm with his as they strolled into Everlast Hall.

They held genuine gold-embossed invitations, unlike the others who clutched fake ones made by the Kidd family. Just with those invitations, they were alreadya cut above the rest.

Seeing Fiona's real gold-embossed invite filled others with envy.

"Check it out, the Woods family really knows how to do it. Even a date gets a gold-embossed invite. Makes us look like amateurs."

"Yep, after this party, we'd better figure out how to get in with this Woods family guy."

As Fiona and Jackson stepped through the grand estate doors, they were

enveloped in an ambiance of timeless elegance.

The entire estate was bathed in the

glow of handcrafted lanterns, casting a warm and inviting light. Rows of Western-style tables lined the estate, piled high with drinks, wines, and a variety of gourmet delights.
