Chapter 2324 To the Bitter End
The clash between the two top–Sage level fighters shattered the iron–clad ship, splintering it into pieces.
Neither Helios nor Santiago fell into the water.
Instead, they stepped onto the floating debris, their battle continuing as the wreckage drifted around them.
“Helios, Atticus‘ failure proves that the Sheffield–Grey family is unfit to lead Chanaea. It’s time to face the truth!”
Santiago unleashed another Dragon–Breaking Palm.
Though his style was similar to Emmanuel’s, it was far more raw.
Emmanuel had relied on overwhelming power and brute force, while Santiago favored refined technique and subtlety.
Helios dodged again, the force of the blow sending massive waves crashing upward.
The destruction they caused could rival a natural disaster–a storm surge, unleashed by their strength.
His brow tightened, his focus sharpening. Though he had never underestimated Santiago, the constraints of the sea fought against his abilities.
Now, it was clear: Santiago had the upper hand.
At this rate, only one of them would leave alive.
“Helios, you’re incredible!” Santiago called out with genuine admiration. He knew that, in a different setting, he might not have stood a chance against a top–Sage level martial artist like Helios.
“But it’s a shame. I have no choice but to end this today, for Chanaea’s sake! The Airspace Group has become a serious threat to the country’s stability. You need to accept this.”
Santiago struck again, shattering more planks around them, elearing the way for his next move.
Helios leaped into the air, his movements restricted. He knew if Santiago unleashed the Sea of the Dragon, not even a god would survive the impact.
Just as the danger grew, several figures shot up from the water’s depths.
Santiago’s eyes widened in shock.
A cold shiver ran down his spine as a wave of deadly intent radiated from the ocean.
He quickly jumped off the plank, barely avoiding whatever threat was approaching.
Two blood–red, serrated blades emerged from the water’s surface, and from the depths, a man in red armor leaped out.
He grinned coldly, his intent clear: destroy the remaining planks and finish the fight.

The man in red recoiled in fear. Was this how Warlord always fought these monsters?
Even with his Double S–Level strength, he wasn’t sure he could survive a hit from this beast.

The man in red armor was hurled into the sea, his fate hanging in the balance, but Santiago wasn’t in a better position. He found himself surrounded by Helios and several other armored experts, all closing in.
He was stuck on a small plank, his movement severely limited.
Meanwhile, his enemies wore high–tech suits that allowed them to glide through the water effortlessly, their mobility unmatched.
“Despicable! An ambush?”
“Commander Adkins is in danger! We need to support him!”
The Northern Region team, watching from a distance, quickly recognized the threat and surged into action, racing toward the battle.
They knew all too well that even someone as skilled as Commander Adkins couldn’t survive in the sea. He wasn’t a god, and he wasn’t a fish. If he went in, he’d drown.
Two speedboats roared to life, engines howling as they cut through the water, heading toward the chaos.
Santiago eyed the situation with grim awareness. The six armored figures were all top–tier fighters, specially trained for underwater combat. Their suits were designed for maximum mobility in water, giving them the advantage. He couldn’t afford to waste any time.
Seeing his speedboat closing in, Santiago seized the chance and leaped aboard, narrowly escaping the encroaching danger.
“Quick! Get out of here! Head straight for Chanaea’s port!” he barked, his voice sharp with urgency.
He’d already sent the main force retreating, knowing they couldn’t fight a Warlord in close combat without heavy losses.
With the main force safely gone, all he needed to do now was unfinished, disrupting their plans would still be a win.
But Helios wasn’t about to let him off so easily.
Scape. Even if he had to leave the mission
“Santiago, you’re already running? We haven’t even finished yet. What, you’re giving up that fast?” Helios‘ voice dripped with dangerous calm, his tone laced with challenge.
With a powerful sweep of his palms, Helios unleashed a massive fire dragon, its jaws snapping, rushing toward Santiago with terrifying force.
Santiago, though awestruck by the sheer power of the Warlord, wasn’t helpless. He raised his arm and struck with a devastating blow, cleaving the fire dragon in half with an explosive burst of energy.
However, just as the flames split apart, a figure in red sprang from the water behind him.
“Heh, Commander Adkins! Didn’t think I was still alive, huh?”

Before he could react, Helios manipulated the energy from the shattered flames, gathering it into a swirling vortex, and sending it back toward him with overwhelming force.
“Commander Adkins, watch out!” his men shouted, their voices filled with panic.
But they were skilled in modern weaponry, not in the ways of martial arts at this level.
They were powerless against the kind of strength that was crashing down on Santiago.
Sweat dripped down Santiago’s face as he struggled to keep the fire from reaching his men.
One hand swatted at the flames, while the other gripped the heavy sword falling from the red–armored man above.
“Impressive. Really, it is,” the man in red muttered, his voice laced with reluctant admiration.
The red–armored man, full of arrogance, couldn’t help but respect Santiago’s raw strength. He understood why Santiago wasn’t part of the Seven Saints–he didn’t belong to the martial arts world.
But it was clear Santiago had surpassed the Sage level. He was nearly divine, but still far from a god.
Before Santiago could catch his breath, five more armored fighters shot up from the water, attacking from all sides.
“Commander Adkins, watch out!” His loyal men shouted, rushing to shield him without hesitation.
“Stay back!” Santiago barked, his voice commanding. “Get on the speedboats and head back to Chanaea! Don’t get involved in this fight!”
He didn’t want his men dying for something they couldn’t win. This was beyond their abilities.
“Santiago, you’re too distracted to care about them now,” Helios‘ voice came from behind.
Santiago barely had time to react before Helios struck, slamming his palm into Santiago’s chest with brutal force.
Santiago, despite his skill, was caught off guard.
The blow came too fast, and he couldn’t block it in time.
Blood surged from his mouth.
Even wounded, Santiago let out a fierce battle cry. With the last of his strength, he retaliated, swinging his palm to unleash a Dragon–Breaking Palm.
“Impressive…” Helios muttered, quickly pulling back.
Though he tried to retreat, the strike still grazed him. Helios fell into the water, wounded but full of admiration for Santiago.
To face seven opponents and nearly kill a Warlord like Helios–there was no one else who could do that.

Santiago, already gravely injured, had just pushed himself to fight off Helios. His body was reaching its limits, and his breath came in ragged gasps. He was nearing collapse.
“Commander Adkins!”
In a desperate moment, his loyal men threw themselves in front of him, taking the incoming blows with their own bodies.
“No!” Santiago cried out, his voice desperate. But it was too late.
He tried to call out, yet it was too late. Blood sprayed across his face as he let out a furious roar.
The sound was raw, ancient, and tragic.
With the last of his strength, he unleashed his final Dragon–Breaking Palm–Dragon’s Demise!
The force of the energy was so powerful that it sank the entire speedboat.
Waves rose in a towering semicircle as the energy mingled with the seawater, forming six sea dragons that shot toward the six armored warriors.
Three of the armored fighters were killed instantly.
The red–armored man and his remaining two comrades narrowly avoided fatal blows but were sent sprawling into the sea, battered and helpless.
“Retreat! Retreat now!” Santiago commanded, his voice weak but urgent, as he addressed the men still operating the boat.
It wasn’t until the speedboat had sped hundreds of meters away that Santiago’s face turned a deep shade of purple.
His body gave out, and he collapsed heavily onto the boat. noveldrama
