Realizing that the person he was holding was Rowena, Alaric suddenly jumped out of bed, his face turning red with embarrassment.

"Sorry!" Alaric had never encountered such a situation before and was instantly at a loss, "Sorry, I didn't know..."

"What are you still standing here for? Get out!" Stellan ordered.

"I'm going right now!" Alaric hurriedly ran out of the bedroom.

Rowena was now hiding under the covers, too embarrassed to come out.

"I'm sorry, Rowena, this is all my fault. I didn't tell him, and I didn't expect him to come back..." Stellan hastily explained with an awkward expression.

Then Stellan quickly left the bedroom, saw Alaric standing outside, and asked, "Why did you suddenly come back? Didn't you say you were going to be busy for the next few days?"

Then he called Cormac.

Cormac was already asleep and was annoyed to see his call. "Alaric, do you know what time it is? Can't you let people sleep?"

"Cormac, why didn't you tell me Rowena was staying at my house tonight!" Alaric shouted. He could only vent his frustration to Cormac.

"Shouldn't Stellan have told, you that?"

"Don't you know Stellan and I are in a cold war? She's not talking to me. How would she tell me anything?"

"What happened?" Hearing Alaric's tone, Cormac suddenly thought of something, "Alaric, what did you do to Rowena?"

"What could I have done?"

After learning about Alaric's embarrassing incident, Cormac was furious and

questioned, "Did you see something you shouldn't have?"

"Cormac, are you crazy? I didn't even turn on the light!"

"Did you touch Rowena?"

"I didn't!" Alaric was really going crazy now.

"Alaric, I'm telling you, if you harassed Rowena, I'll kill you!"

"Cormac, can you talk normally? I said I didn't!" Alaric was really frustrated, "Next time Rowena is staying at my house, let me know in advance!"

"Then why did you come home in the middle of the night when you're in a cold war with Galatea?"

Was it wrong to come back to Alaric's own home in the middle of the night?

Alaric angrily hung up the phone, then slammed the steering wheel again and cursed for the first time in his life, "Damn it!"

"I'll take it." Alaric just wanted to find a place to rest quickly and didn't want to be picky.

"Okay, how many days will you be staying?"

"A month."

He was already in a cold war with Stellan, and now he couldn't face her even more. "Alright, Mr. Knight, here's your room key."

Alaric took the room key, went back to the room, and touched his face, still feeling the lingering embarrassment.
