"Who are you? Why did you save me?"

Patricia was in a panic when she woke up. She huddled into a ball on the bed and listened around warily.

"My name is Dustin Fox. I'm a friend of your father's. I was asked to save you," Dustin said.

"Don't worry. I got your eyes back, and you'll be able to see again soon. The Jepperd family has also paid dearly for their crimes."

After making sure that she was safe, Patricia started to sob.

She never imagined that her kindness toward Ashlyn would be repaid with the latter's cruelty because of her jealousy.

After having a good cry, Patricia had some questions on her mind.

"How long before I can take off this gauze?" she asked.

She had gone from feeling despair to feeling hope. She was looking forward to being able to see the world again.

Meanwhile, a huge group of people gathered outside the hotel.

When he saw that Dustin showed no reaction, Waymond snickered. His face relaxed. He did not see Dustin as a threat at all.
