No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric)

Donovan's face turned ashen in an instant. He never expected Noelle to actually go through with it.

Noelle smirked coldly. "The evidence is undeniable, and we have so many witnesses. I believe Liddell Corporation won't have any way to justify this, right?"

The middle-aged official walked over. "Everyone else, please disperse. We'll handle this matter properly and issue a formal notice."

He wanted to send the crowd away to avoid escalating the situation and causing a negative impact.

Once the area was cleared, the official turned to Donovan. "Mr. Liddell, I believe the truth of the matter is clear enough without me needing to spell it out. As per the rules, your company's bidding qualifications will be revoked."

Even though Liddell Corporation was influential, rules could not be arbitrarily broken.

When Donovan heard the outcome, he glared at Noelle. "Are you satisfied now?" Noelle lazily raised an eyebrow. "I'm okay. Thanks for demonstrating it yourself." Fuming, Donovan pointed a trembling finger at her. "You..."

Before he could finish, Noelle swatted his hand away. "This is called karma!"

The team leader of Maple Enterprise stepped forward to block Donovan. "Mr. Liddell, Noelle didn't force you to steal her ideas, nor did she make you use them! Everything that happened was your doing. How can you blame her for this?"

At first, he thought Noelle was being too harsh when she said she was cutting ties with her family. However, his perspective had now completely changed. It was a good thing to sever ties with such a family.

Donovan was immediately speechless. "This is a family matter!"

"Noelle has already severed ties with you. You're no longer family."

"Noelle will always carry the blood of the Liddell family. That will never change, not even in death!" Donovan snapped.

Noelle glanced at the leader. "I'm fine. Let's go back and get a lawyer to handle this."

The leader nodded. "Got it. The idea was yours to begin with. You have the final say!"

He was equally enraged by the Liddell family's behavior. He couldn't understand how anyone could be so blatantly biased. After all, Noelle was the victim.

"Now that it's come to this, I have no choice but to tell the truth," Xenia suddenly interrupted.

"Donovan, it was actually Noelle who intentionally gave me the document and asked me to pass it on to you. She wanted to expose everything in front of so many people to ensure Liddell Corporation lost its bidding qualifications!"

Lucas stared at Xenia in shock. "Why are you lying?"

That wasn't the truth at all. Xenia bit her lip and continued, "Lucas, you don't know about this. It was a private deal between Noelle and me. I have to speak up to stop Donovan's company from losing its bidding qualification."

Donovan was taken aback. "Xenia, why would you make such a deal with her?"

Tears welled up in Xenia's eyes. "Noelle threatened me with the surveillance footage from that night at the bar. She even has backups.noveldrama

"If I didn't comply, she would hand it over to the Merlocks and claim that I purposely kept a video of Samantha's crime. I was scared, so I had no choice but to comply!"

Hearing Xenia's dramatic lies, Noelle couldn't help but speak up. "Xenia, were you a straw weaver in your past life?"Noelle couldn't believe Xenia could weave out such an outrageous story.

"You might have threatened me with that video, Noelle, but I'm still going to tell the truth!" Xenia said.

Lucas interrupted, "Do you have any proof?"

"I do. Here's the message she sent me. She told me to figure out what to do,"

Xenia replied, pulling out her phone to show the text message.

Donovan glanced at it, then fixed his gaze on Noelle. "What do you have to say now? Is this your message?"

Noelle nodded. "Yes, I sent it."

However, this was completely different from what Xenia was claiming. She hadn't expected Xenia to make up such lies to clear herself of responsibility.

"Noelle, I didn't think you could be so vile to use such despicable methods. That's one thing, but you shouldn't have threatened Xenia. If you have a problem, come to me!"

Xenia tugged at Donovan's arm. "Donovan, this is between Noelle and me. I don't want to drag you into it!"

Donovan looked at the official. "This whole thing was arranged by Noelle, and I had no knowledge of it. We don't accept disqualification."

The official was stunned and glanced at Noelle.

Noelle smiled and then turned her attention to Xenia hiding behind Donovan. "By

the way, there's something I want to show you."

Xenia's face immediately changed. She had no idea if this would work in her favor. Just moments ago, she had received a message from Sean.

"Noelle doesn't have a backup of the surveillance footage."
