Maverick POV.

I shouldn't have agreed to have Felicity be under my watch and that shit she pulled has just caused murder. No sooner had I shut the door after Harmony drove away, I had a screaming match with Felicity and she started the

waterworks, telling me we should be a family for Melody's sake, I laughed so hard

I was barely containing the rage building inside of me.

I called one of the ole ladies to come to my home to watch Melody and Felicity. Even though that bitch had been locked in one of the bedrooms here. I needed to go and explain to Harmony that it was not what she thought.

When I got to her home, she point blank refused to open the door, so I climbed over and staggered into her bins. Still, she refused and kept saying the same thing over. Go back to my daughter and ole lady.

I was about to tell her there was nothing between me and Felicity when she turned to walk away; I grabbed her and kissed her. Knowing I had fucked up when she shoved me away.

When she said it never started, I was lost for words because she was right, so like a wounded animal, I left her alone and headed home.

Felicity was quiet and Melody had just had her bath and was ready for bed. She will be sleeping with me, considering she doesn't want to see Felicity at all. Hell, Melody didn't even talk to me when I walked through the front door with her mother.

So I have managed to piss off my daughter and the woman I saw a future with all because of Felicity. Felicity made herself right at home and the bitch even had the gall to wear my shirt after her shower, insinuating I fucked her. The thought makes me want to vomit.

"Thanks for watching them." I say to Ginger as she stands and kisses Melody on her head and walks to the door, grabbing her phone and keys.

"It will be ok Outlaw. Harmony will see reason. I suppose you should count your lucky stars that she isn't anything like Rebel or Angel for that matter." She says with a chuckle. I thank her again and she leaves. I move to Melody, and she ignores me, too.

"Melly, I will make it right." I say to her and she looks at the doll in her lap and just nods her head before she stands and walks away from me. My heart breaks knowing I have hurt my daughter. She thought she was safe with me, which she is, but this situation is going to cause more harm than good.

I sigh as I follow Melody upstairs and into my bedroom. I help her in to bed and kiss her head.

"I love you, sweetheart, sleep well." I say to her and she mumbles I love you and turns away from me.

I watch her until she falls asleep and head down the hall to the room where Felicity is. I unlock the door and she is sleeping, facing the window. I walk further into the room and check the window. It's locked and leave the room, closing and locking the door behind me.

I make my way back downstairs and grab a beer before sitting at the dining room table and pick the label, thinking of what a clusterfuck today has been.

When I woke up this morning I was so happy to see where these feelings were going with Harmony, but now they are dead in the water. I have hurt her and I should have warned her, but I was too busy trying to calm Melody down and getting Felicity to stop upsetting Melody.

Felicity was trying too hard and Melody screamed at her, telling her she hated her and wanted Harmony to be her mommy. Felicity flew into a rage and I intervened before it got out of hand.

Then, by the time everything calmed down, Harmony had arrived. Today can just fuck off and tomorrow I will go and see Harmony and try to salvage what I can, if anything.

I drain the bottle in a few gulps, then grab another. Seven bottles later, I'm done. I don't usually drink with being on the road all the time, but I will have the occasional one and, considering today has been the mother of all fuck-ups, I needed this.

everything and make my way to the stairs and up; I get a shower, brush my teeth and throw on my pyjamas and climb into bed.

Melody is snoring and I smile softly as I brush the hair from her face and snuggle down, drawing her into my arms as I kiss the back of her head and fall asleep.

My phone rings and I open one eye looking for the offending thing and see it's Scythe calling.

"Yeah?" I answer.

"Get Felicity and Melody and bring them to the clubhouse. We are going into lockdown." I shoot up in bed.

"What's happened?" I ask as I shake Melody awake before I climb out of bed and grab the key for Felicity's room and open the door and the window is open, and she is gone. Shit!

"Felicity is gone. What's happened?" I say as I slam the window closed and leave the room to see Melody is rubbing her eyes.noveldrama

"Harmony has been kidnapped." My world stops spinning and the phone nearly falls from my grip.

"What? Who? When?" I ask as I grab my clothes and walk to the bathroom and quickly get dressed before I pull the phone away.

"Melly baby, go and get dressed." I say to her.

"Two hours ago, her emergency alert was activated by the time we got to her. She was gone. We followed the tracker, and we found it laying on the ground. We are searching for her and we need all the women and kids here. As for Felicity, I have a feeling her crew is behind this. That bitch will die for this, pregnant or not. No one messes with my fucking family. You and Melody have thirty minutes to get here. I have sent Wild Child to you. He should be there soon." Scythe hangs up.

Fuck! I grip my hair as I grab a couple of duffle bags and pack some clothes for me and Melody. I grab her bear and everything we will need for a few days or until we find Harmony and put an end to the Son's Of Hades.

I help Melody into her outfit, and she looks at me with worry.

"Daddy, are you ok? You look angry." She says, touching my face and I kiss her forehead.

"We have to stay at the clubhouse for a while. Like a big sleepover with everyone. So grab what you need, sweetheart, and uncle Harry will be here in a minute." I tell her and she nods her head slowly.

"Is Harmony going to be there too?" What do I say to her?

"Soon baby, soon. Come on, move your butt." I say and pat her bottom as she runs to her room.

"Daddy, what about that lady?" She says, pointing to the room where her bitch of a mother was.

"She's gone." Is all I say and I see her face light up slightly before she nods her head and I hear a yes coming from her. I should be worried or concerned, but that right there tells me everything I need to know about how Melody feels about Felicity.

Once we are ready and packed, we leave the house to see Wild Child waiting, talking on his phone. He nods at me and waves at Melody.

I place Melody in her booster seat in the cage and throw are things in the back. Climbing in, I start the cage and drive towards the clubhouse and the place is ram packed with members and their families.

"CHURCH!" Rebel shouts, and she is pissed. She looks at me and I hand Melody to Michelle and walk to my doom.
