Harmony POV.

My hands are sweating with nerves and anticipation. The butterflies in my

stomach are going into overdrive.

Are we rushing into this?

"I love you too Mav, do you want to come inside?" I ask him, as we are both still in the cage outside my house. He is silent and I wait for him to answer. He turns in his seat to completely face me, and my heart is in my throat. Oh god that was such a stupid question. Is he expecting more?

"Harmony, baby, I would love nothing more than to come inside with you," He sighs and reaches for my cheek. I find myself leaning into his warm palm and closing my eyes.

"Let's not rush anything. I don't want you to feel pressured that after we have had a great night that you have to do that for me. Harmony, I can wait and I want you to be one hundred percent certain. So let's not rush anything. Yes, I have told you I love you and I do. I've not said it to get you into bed. I would love nothing more than to do that with you, only when the time is right. But I will come in with you and we can talk some more if you want? It's your decision." He says to me and heart is overflowing at how considerate he is.

Not ever man would be like this, I may be a virgin and never dated before I have heard some horror stories as I call them of both men and women who have gone on dates thinking it would lead to something more only to be dumped the next day. That is not what I want.

I always said when I gave that part of myself, it would be to the man I wanted to build a family with. Some would say it's old-fashioned, but to me it isn't. Plus, I am not one to lie, but when I give that part of myself to him, I want it to be forever. My first, only and last.

"I understand, and thank you for being considerate about this. I would like you to come inside and we can talk or chill if you want. Or you can go ..." He cuts me off with a gentle kiss and he breaks the contact too quickly for my liking.

"I would love that, thank you Harmony, but I won't stay long. You need your sleep." He says, and I nod my head. I'm shocked that I don't feel upset by this because in a way it is a rejection, but I know it really isn't. My body wants him, my heart wants him, but my head is telling me to slow it down and to not rush. I'm glad to see we are almost on the same page.noveldrama

Mav has cleared my fears that he is not like the other people who hit it and quit it. So for that, I am grateful. How this strong, handsome and kind man has been passed up I will never understand.

We leave the car and disengage the security system and open the door and Mystique lifts her head up to see who has come in. I smile at her and she settles again.

"So, shall we grab a drink? I don't mean alcohol. How about a coffee or hot chocolate?" I ask, as Mav shuts the front door and locks it.

"Sounds wonderful." He says and I smile at him and kiss him once more before I walk to the sofa and remove my boots before giving scratches to Mystique when I stand up and enter the kitchen and make a start on the hot chocolates. I feel his presence behind me and my body ignites when he steps up behind me and wraps me in a hug from behind. He kisses my head and I lean back into him.

"Let me help you," he says, and I open the cupboard and get everything down.

"You have marshmallows?" He asks, and I stop and turn my head to look at him.

"You want marshmallows in your hot chocolate?" I ask him and he smiles and nods his head and I chuckle.

"You big kid, yeah, I've got marshmallows and cream. You can't have hot chocolate without them." I say and get to work making the hot chocolate. Mav grabs the can of whipping cream and squirts it on my nose and I chuckle at him when he steps closer and licks it off my nose and my heart freezes before it beats fast. He is smiling at me. Ahhh fuck it.

I jump and wrap my legs around his waist and kiss him; the kiss is frantic, just needing him to be close. My back hits the wall softly and I moan into his mouth. His large hands are under my ass and he squeezes my cheeks before he nibbles on my bottom lip.

I want nothing more than to rip his clothes off and let him take me in every way possible. He pulls away and his eyes are filled with lust, an animalistic kind of lust.

I blink up at him, my cheeks tinged red as we both pant hard, gaining control of our breathing.

"I can't stop myself, but we have to." He whispers as he presses his forehead against mine in a show of intimacy. I sigh with contentment.

"Yeah, I think we do." I chuckle softly and he pulls back and lets me slip down until I am standing in front of him. He takes a step back and I instantly miss his body heat. He takes my hand in his just as Mystique enters the kitchen and he leads me back to the counter and we continue making the drinks.

I sneak peeks at him and he does the same. I find myself smiling at him and he smiles at me.

"What are we like? We both agree to not going any further and we can't help not touching each other." He says as he takes his mug and I take mine as we walk into the living room and sit down.

"I know. This is all new to me, but I feel comfortable with you Mav, I would like to see how this goes. So to answer your earlier question, sorry for not answering, by the way. But yes, I would love to be your girlfriend." I say to him and he kisses me again, but it is a quick kiss and he winks at me.

"Get ready to be swept off your feet and not just because you have agreed to it, but because it is what you deserve. You deserve everything good that this world has to offer. You are a kind soul Harmony and a breath of fresh air. Thank you." He says and I smile and lean against him as we sit side by side talking and laughing.

I love listening to him talk. In the beginning he was a man of few words and now we are laughing about his adventures from when he was a nomad.

We even grabbed the blanket and turned the TV on as we talked and watched a movie. At one point, I leaned on him and just cuddled close to him. Tonight has been amazing.

"Next time, we can take Melody with us. I'm sure she would love to go bowling or something." I say to him and he chuckles.

"She loves you Harmony and I know you love her. She doesn't stop talking about you. She even said to me when I dropped her at Michelle and Hound's and I quote You better not mess up daddy. I love Harmony and if you mess up, I will not be very happy daddy." I laughed as he made his voice higher and even did the stance and mannerisms I can see Melody using.

"She is a good kid. You can tell her you didn't mess up. I'm sure she will be very happy with you just like I am," I say to him and he smiles at me before he kisses my lips once more.

"Yeah, she will no doubt tell you all about it when she sees you next, so put in a good word for me. She can be scary with all that sass." He says, and I laugh and nod my head.

"I've got your back, big guy against the tiny terror." I tell him when he kisses my forehead.

"Well, I better head home and you need to head to bed. Thank you for agreeing to come with me tonight. I had a blast and I can't wait to do it all again with you, Harmony." He says, and I smile at him.

"I had a great time. We will definitely do this again. Drive carefully, Mav. Thank you again. I had fun." I kiss him before he leaves the house and I watch him drive away slowly. Closing the door and locking it. I lean against it and smile to myself, smiling like a fool.

I have my first boyfriend; I squeal and do a happy dance as I head to bed. I'm so happy right now nothing can take that away from me.
