The Divorce Prescription

Chapter 711

Nigel tumbled off the bed and crashed to the floor with a heavy thud.

Celine, who stood in the doorway, took in the sight-Nigel, the infamous business mogul, had just been thrown off the bed by Fiona.

Unable to hold back, Celine erupted into laughter.

"Sorry, Mr. Hampton," she said between giggles. "I don't laugh unless I really can't stop myself."

"That's enough laughing!" Nigel snapped. "If you keep going, it will become disrespectful."

Fiona turned to Celine. "Ms. Tate, my apologies for the inconvenience."

Celine walked in, feeling a sense of camaraderie with Fiona. "Ms. Jakeman, I feel like we really get along. If you don't mind, you can call me Celine, just like Mr. Hampton does."

Fiona smiled back. "Alright, Celine."

"Ms. Jakeman, would you mind extending your hand? I'd like to take your pulse."

Fiona stretched out her hand, and Celine gently placed her fingers on Fiona's wrist. Within moments, her expression darkened.

Nigel couldn't stand seeing Celine's troubled face and immediately asked, "What's wrong with her?"

"Mr. Hampton, Ms. Jakeman has been poisoned before, hasn't she?" Celine asked.

Nigel nodded. "Yes."

"It happened when I was pregnant with Carly," Fiona explained. "The day I gave birth, I fell into a coma and only recently woke up. None of the doctors could identify the poison."

"Ms. Jakeman, you were poisoned with Eclipse venom."

"Eclipse venom?" Nigel and Fiona gasped in unison, their faces contorted in shock.

Celine nodded. "Yes, Eclipse venom is one of the most insidious poisons. It's been in Ms. Jakeman's system all along. Do you know who's behind it?"

Fiona turned to Nigel. "Do we even need to ask? It has to be your childhood sweetheart, Anne Warwick!"

Nigel's brows knitted tightly. "That's impossible! Anne would never do something like that! We grew up together-she doesn't know anything about poison, let alone about Eclipse venom from Yoruzen."

"Of course in your eyes, Anne is the purest, kindest person in the world. I was the one who took the title of Mrs. Hampton from her, wasn't I? Fine, I'll give it back to her right now!"

Nigel's expression darkened with frustration. "Fiona, stop being ridiculous!"

Celine quickly stepped in. "Mr. Hampton, Ms. Jakeman, please, we can't keep arguing like this."

She could tell that Anne had been the cause of the rift between them.

Celine raised an eyebrow. "Ms. Jakeman, I can cure the poison in your system."

Fiona's expression lit up with hope. "Really?"

Nigel's excitement mirrored hers. "Celine, are you absolutely sure you can cure her?"noveldrama

Celine's lips curled into a faint,

knowing smile. "Eclipse venom is an

incredibly treacherous poison, but I

do have a way to save Ms.

Jakeman. However, there's only one method..."

"What is it? Celine, please, tell us!" Nigel urged.

Celine met his gaze. "The only way to save Ms. Jakeman is with your heart's blood."

Heart's blood?
