Blimey, My Kid's the Heir to the Billionaire Boss!

Chapter 1498 Friend or Foe

Hearing Silas say that, Ryan finally let out a sigh of relief. He turned around, waiting for Rylan to show up with backup.

It felt like they were on the edge of a big showdown. Everyone was on edge, gearing up for the fight ahead.

Sadie kept telling herself to stay cool and collected, not to show any signs of panic that could be used against her.

But as she walked into the hospital, she couldn't help but pick up the pace. She needed to see if that person was really Micah.

Her heart was full of hope. She wanted it to be Micah. Even if there was some huge conspiracy behind it, she didn't care. She just wanted him to be alive and well.

As long as he was alive, she'd face any storm, any danger, without a second thought. "Hold it right there!"

A bunch of bodyguards blocked Sadie and her group at the hospital entrance. "This is a private hospital, and it's closed right now. Outsiders aren't allowed. Please leave."

"How dare you," Arya snapped. "Do you even know who we are? How dare you stop us?"

"I don't care who you are. You need to leave now," the bodyguard shot back, just as stubborn.

"You-"

"Isn't this the Graham Family's hospital?" Annika pulled Arya back and said calmly, "Please call Ms. Graham."

"Ms. Graham is busy and can't see you," the bodyguard said firmly.

"Is that so?" Sadie had had enough. "What if I insist on going in?"

The bodyguard didn't answer but signaled and several others surrounded them.

"How arrogant."

Arya clenched her fists, ready to throw down.

The Graham Family's bodyguards were ready for a fight too.

"Stop."

A cool voice suddenly cut through the tension.

Sadie looked up and saw Olivia approaching, followed by a large entourage.

"Take a good look. This is Sadie, the current CEO of the Clemens Group. How dare you stop her?" Olivia's words were dripping with meaning.noveldrama

The bodyguards, hearing Olivia speak, quickly stepped aside.

"Sadie." Olivia looked at Sadie with a complicated expression. "Please, go ahead."

"Thanks!" Sadie didn't waste any time and walked straight in.

"Sadie, there's an old saying: those who do evil will face retribution."

Olivia walked alongside Sadie, her voice soft but heavy with implication.

"So?" Sadie raised an eyebrow at her. "What are you trying to say?"

"Mr. Clemens treated you so well, and yet you plotted against him." Olivia glared at her coldly. "How ruthless you are!"

"Such rumors might fool others, but Ms. Graham believes them too?" Sadie found it laughable.

"Before my husband had his accident, he told me you were smart and that I should try

to befriend you. Now it seems he might have been wrong."

"You" Olivia's face turned pale with anger.

Sadie ignored her, quickening her pace and walking away.

Olivia watched her leave, her expression complicated, as if deep in thought.

"Ms. Graham, do you think the rumors are true?" one of her attendants asked quietly. "Whether they're true or not, we'll know when we see Mr. Clemens." Olivia's face was serious.

"I find this whole thing very strange. Is that person really Mr. Clemens? Who brought him to our hospital? Why didn't they contact me but went straight to my father?"

"It is indeed suspicious," the attendant whispered. "But Mr. Graham might know something."

"I asked him, but he wouldn't say and even scolded me," Olivia said, her face showing respect when she mentioned Nicholas.

"Never mind, let's go confirm if that person is really Mr. Clemens."
