No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric)

Jessica's expression changed. There was no way! She wouldn't do it.

Noelle's glare turned cold. "Why have you gone back on your word, Samuel? It's alright if you don't want to eat shit."

Samuel sighed in relief and asked, "What's your solution, then?"

"Stand by the door and scream thrice that you're sorry to me and you're a

dumbass. If you do so, I'll let this slide!"noveldrama

Noelle wasn't a saint. She would finish what he started.

Samuel was unwilling to do so. Michael chuckled. "So this is the spineless excuse of a man that you are!"

He flushed. In the end, Samuel stood by the door and shouted, "I'm sorry, Noelle. I'm a dumbass!"

Noelle pulled her phone out and recorded him before walking into the hall with Michael.

Samuel's face was redder than a tomato.

Jessica added fuel to the fire by saying, "Samuel, I think that there's something between Michael and Noelle. If not, why would he speak out for her?"

"You're right. After all, I've seen most of the influencers here before. Yet, I've never heard of Noelle!"

He spit and said, "That bitch, Noelle. I'll make her life hell."

"Right, you can poke holes through her lies. After all, she's not a celebrity. She's in this industry because of the support from a man. They won't accept her into their ranks."

Jessica could already imagine Noelle being ostracised and humiliated.

Samuel and Jessica walked back in while discussing how they'd deal with Noelle.

Upon hearing this, Grace glanced at the guest list. The only livestreamer here who'd never shown her face on the internet was SweetNelly. Was she Noelle?

Grace texted Noelle. "Grace and Samuel are discussing how to take revenge against you. Be careful."

Noelle eyed the message and smirked. It looked like they hadn't learnt their lesson!

She stood with Michael and chatted with the other Firestorm livestreamers.

"Ms. Nelly, you've decreased the frequency of your streams ever since school started. You didn't stream this weekend either. Rumor on the street is that you got hurt."

"Yeah, I was hospitalized after an accident. Thankfully, it wasn't severe."

Noelle had taken the bandage on her forehead off and replaced it with a plaster to cover the stitches.

"I heard that one of the rich bachelors of Yasnia got into an accident while taking his newest girlfriend on a drive. However, it was kept from the media. Not many people are aware of it."

"Yeah, I heard that he keeps himself under the radar. Who knows which lucky girl caught his eye?"

Noelle listened to their gossip. Just now, Harvey had mentioned something about a rich heir in Yasnia!

Noelle had heard of him in her past life, but the Liddells weren't even on his level, so they had never crossed paths.

It would be great to inconvenience the Liddells so that Donovan didn't take action against Maple Enterprise.

Michael turned to Noelle and said thoughtfully, "So do you know him?"

"I've heard of him, but why would I know him!"

Michael found it odd. What a coincidence that Noelle and Cedric were in an accident at the same time! He remembered seeing her in Aldoria with him. Was it a mistake on his part?

After the event began, Michael went onstage and said, "Welcome, everyone, to the event tonight. Firestorm Entertainment has always had a great relationship with Team Yole, thus we hosted the event here.

"Later, we'll be playing a game. Our team members can challenge the

livestreamers as they please. The winner will be given a small gift!"

Noelle sipped at the drink and saw Samuel and Grace staring at her out of the corner of her eye.

The mirth in her eyes sparkled. She had an inkling as to what they were planning.

As expected, Grace raised her hand and said "Samuel, our captain, wants to challenge Noelle!"
